In the Picture above you'll notice Jonevan, Keenan, and Shane. They are Georgetown/Columbia Grads that do A Lot for the NYC Community. They're Great Friends of my Brother Aquil who used to be a member of MIH until a few years ago. I'm pretty good friends with them and I know for a fact this years HEATWAVE will be an awesome event. They are a Promotional Group that does great work. Their events Always Please as you can tell due to the loyalty of clientele, and the masses that they successfully attract to all of their events.

... It's Time ...

The Class of 2010 has this Option a FRESH START to be Whatever they would like Despite the seeming limitations of there various institutions. The possibilities are truly endless. You'll learn that college is like most things you'll face in life a lot revolves around who you know. In addition diversified portfolios, hard work combined with success in the classroom along with good networking skills will also create more opportunities and in turn allow you to be more successful.

Be curious and get involved because college provides you with so many resources it would be foolish not to take advantage of them. The best part about college is meeting new people and experiencing something different each and every week. I would suggest you leave your comfort zone and embrace the activities that you have never experienced and take risk no matter how small or big they may be I would try something new every semester whether its a food type or party style these small victories will allow you to be more confident and capitalize on the thousands of new and exciting things your Colleges and Universities will have to offer.

Network Network Network ... You should get Business Cards made up with basic information (Name, Major, Graduation Year, College, etc.) it will allow you to interact with a lot of people more effectively.

I LOVE COLLEGE and I think I would Fit in ANYWHERE, but Cornell is Pretty Legit! ... When you get on Campus Create the Experience you Want Please don't be like so many students and refuse to embrace the community. Don't be the bored kid refusing to loosen arms with your High School Friends and get Consumed with High School you have to let go of some things in order to prepare for your Future. If you have great friends they will understand and letting go will actually make the relationship stronger as you all will realize the necessary transition and appropriate time needed for each and everyone of you to be success.

Some friends are irreplaceable but in college you'll find a lot of people are driven but unfortunately there's the other crowd that is overwhelmed with the thought of freedom so they blow there opportunity to Shits! Surround yourself with Positive People that have similar Aspirations and that Create Balance It will make your experience less hectic and you should LOVE the Environment once you find the Right Crowd ...

Why is Every Guy you meet in College a Player?

"Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what your gonna get!"

Well at least you're not supposed to. But too often nowadays a lot of girls/women are going off to college in attempts to further their education with the intent to possibly find a good man or Mr. Right along the way, but this is becoming more and more difficult in this day and AGE! ...

Today the Gender Gap is pretty remarkable for College students its 57% Female to 43% Male. Random Fact if I wasn't at Cornell I would be at Hampton where the ratio is 66% to 33% that's like 2 to 1 Haha ... I would be Having the most Fun, not like I'm not having Fun, but it would just be CRAZIER! But anyways back to the story. Other than the Ivy League Campuses the Gender trend of Females outnumbering the Males is similar and even worse at most Colleges.

So what does this mean???

Why is it Significant?

There's more Competition out there for the Girls ... As if Girls don't have to work hard enough in our Society this is an added pressure that usually sits in the back of Every females mind pursuing higher education. "Will I ever find a man that measure s up!"

I believe too much of society is placed on status and not enough emphasis on true character. The time and effort required for understanding true character may take risk but with any risk is the possibility of reward. "Scared Money don't Make Money!" You have to Invest!

Far too often Females more often than Males believe that they are 'too good' for someone or stereotype certain individuals without giving them a fair chance. This accounts for large portion of the population has trouble getting hitched.

Also I've come to learn that a Girl can only have a certain amount of Girl Friends at least quality Girl Friends because all the rest bring is Drama so Girls tend to avoid large female clicks (sp?) and find Guy friends in place of them and sometimes as better alternatives. Why I love the phrase and am reminded of the corruption in the World Everyday!

"Girls don't Even Trust Girls, Why Should I?!"

As long as girls are avoiding the masses and gravitating towards the Guys there will forever appear that Every Guy in College is a Player. People gossip about EVERYTHING. Ish they Know ... Ish they don't know b/c in College some people have NO Lives and there's nothing better to do, so no matter who you may just be friends with somebody overheard that your sleeping with them or yea they're more than friends ... lol When people assume stuff like that I just laugh and Agree b/c nothings wrong with having FUN and at the End of the Day it's college who can you Really Trust?!

The World Cup: Is it Soccer or Futbol?

I was fortunate enough to be born a natural athlete. Around age 7 my parents finally agreed that it was fitting to put my athletic abilities to use. The first sport that I played and fell in love with was soccer.

I was fast, energetic, and angry. Angry in a sense to say that I thought kicking the slop out of something as a 7 year old was very entertaining. Back then I loved soccer and soccer loved me back, I was a quick learner and by age 8 I managed to make the traveling team.

Soccer is a "Man's Sport" for lack of a better term. Even though I have left the game and currently play Football I have a lot of respect for people that play it b/c I know what it takes to be successful and understand the difficulty.

Without my roots in soccer I wouldn't be the Football player I am today. I'm grateful for what the game has taught me and the World Cup has put things into perspective for me and it seems like a fitting time to reflect.

The World Cup is the Largest Sporting Event in the World and holds more significance to most nations than the Olympics b/c Soccer is so popular nations believe its a better medium then the various competitions represented at the Olympics and everything rides on this single Tournament, where Soccer is at center stage.

I'm excited for this year's World Cup and am rooting for TEAM USA all the WAY!

Soccer paved the way for my athletic career, without Futbol I wouldn't be the Football player I am Today!

Keith Started College!

Keith started his first semester of College Spring 2010. He attends Lincoln University and his first semester was great despite not being able to do what he loves. (Run Track) He was ineligible for some dumb reason, but he has been working hard to get prepared for next year and I think he'll add a lot of value to the team. O Yea, I'm not gonna brag for my man or anything but his GPA is Legit Too! I'm proud of him and look forward to crashing his school again next spring.

Sweat Box Cornell University "Party was a Classic"

I'm not a fan of sweating at parties unless the party is quality. One of this years best parties was "SweatBox" held in Ujamaa Main Lounge. It was jam packed, everybody was out and it was just a great night. Their were some other quality nights but I didn't document them so here you go. The senior class held some good events next year were gonna have to keep it up w/o them.

BSC Conference (lol) Yale University "Trip was a Double Classic"

The Black Solidarity Conference at Yale University was a Great Weekend. Who thought Yale would be so cool, I had my doubts but the event definitely surpassed the hype. Can't wait for the conference in 2011. But anyway the highlights were definitely Dr. Michael Eric Dyson's speech, the parties, o yea and the hospitality.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson is an excellent Orator he spoke on topics of the past and present putting things into perspective using current events and making all of his point with useful relevant information that the entire crowd could relate to. I urge that you check out his speech even though its over an hour long, It's definitely worth it. Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 It's worth it!

The Parties were great, I met a lot of people and there's nothing like networking with other individuals with similar aspirations as you. I'm grateful for the experience and have a thing for Conferences lol SDLC Woot Woot!

Missions Trip Memphis, TN "Great Experience"

I've never been on a Missions trip and I haven't done Community Service for a while so I was excited for my trip down to Memphis, TN. Tennessee is beautiful I saw the cities major sites in my free time and enjoyed all the BBQ. I like working in homes due to my families involvement in Real Estate so it was Fun to fix up the homes and do the service and interact with the people of the community. Another highlight was the the Beale Street Flippers who perform at NBA halftime shows around the nation, and were on the TV show America's got Talent.

Spring Ball Cornell University "It's About that Time!"

After getting 2 (Wins) and 8 (Losses) this past Season CHANGE was in Order! 7 of our coaches were replaced before this Spring and our new Head Coach is Kent Austin (From Ole Miss). The Offense had a great Spring Game and the Defense did well but the Spring was Full of Learning. Everyone but our kickers and punters had a new system that they had to learn and get accustomed to. I played slower than I would have like b/c I was thinking too much. This Fall will be very competitive, but competition breeds greatness so you know I'm wit it. This year will be different and I'm eager to see how we perform now that we have new coaches with more experience and better systems. I'll keep you all posted about our season, workouts are going great so far this summer and I'm just excited to get back on campus with my teammates.

Slope Day at Cornell is an event everyone should experience. This year Drake was the Main Performer at the Outdoor concert but you have the most fun during the weekend when everybody is out socializing, some people get Tipsy and that's the basis for all the Shenanigans plus the Parties top off the great festivities during the day. It takes place ever May and in the past some other artist that have performed are: Kanye, Asher Roth, T.I., Snoop Dogg. If you get out of school before the first weekend in May next year hit me up and we'll make it happen.

SoBe Miami Beach, FL "Too Fly"

My New Friends

I knew a girl for 6 hours tops lol who I met at the BSC and few months later I was with her and her friends/family down on SoBe. I guess I left a good impression b/c she looked out for me like I was her brother. I loved everything about the trip. First, I spent the weekend in the Mondrian Hotel on SoBe which is a beautiful Hotel. At night we went Partying atClubLiv, The Clevelander, and Mangoes. Miami NightLife is way better than Philly and I Enjoy it more than NY Too. I think I know where I'll be Clubbin when I get Older. Yall should definitely head down ther before the Oil get bad its a Great Time.

Next, I spent a few days on my own in a Hotel ... lol It was more like a Motel. But it was a place to sleep lol. Next I went to My Man J Heller's How's and It was Back to Great Livin'. I got my own room and we took the Jet Ski's Out to the Ocean. I didn't realize 70mph on the water was so fast. I almost Died Out There! I was in Miami for a week and it was the first time I traveled on my own. I learned a lot about myself when I was down there and it will definitely help me with future vacations/excursions. I really enjoyed my company it was a great weekend. 21 Year Old B-Day Party Festivites are Quality I look forward to the 3 - 4 more left during the summer.
